Legacy Discs
Legacy Discs is a family-owned, American-made disc golf brand with roots that go back to the mid-1980s. Founded in 2011 by brothers Steve and Bamba Rico — both lifelong disc golfers and former Innova-sponsored players — Legacy was built on decades of player experience and a simple idea: make the discs that players say they want but can't get. Operating out of Sylmar, California, the Rico family designs and manufactures every disc in-house. The lineup will feel immediately familiar to Innova throwers — the Rival flies like a Teebird, the Patriot like a Leopard, the Outlaw like a Destroyer, the Ghost like a Roc, and the Enemy like a Firebird — but with their own feel and refinements. Legacy also pushed the speed envelope early with the Cannon and Rampage, two of the fastest drivers on the market. Their proprietary plastics — the grippy Icon, the durable Pinnacle, the economical Protégé, the tacky Gravity, and the beginner-friendly Excel — give players real options for every condition and preference.
