Gateway Discs
Gateway Disc Sports is one of the founding pillars of modern disc golf. Established in 1994 by David McCormack — a World Disc Golf Hall of Fame inductee who's been playing since 1975 — Gateway has spent over 30 years shaping the sport as a manufacturer, course designer, and community builder. They're best known for the legendary Wizard putter, introduced in 2002 and still widely considered one of the greatest putters ever made. But Gateway's lineup goes well beyond putting, with over 32 PDGA-approved molds spanning drivers, midranges, and approach discs. What truly sets Gateway apart is their range of plastic blends and flex options — from the tacky, grippy Sure Grip in multiple firmness levels to the premium Diamond and Platinum blends — giving players an unmatched level of feel customization. On top of all that, McCormack and his team have designed and installed more than 150 disc golf courses nationwide.
